Hello fitness family! I have the excitement of sharing with you today that I have become a contributing author to the popular health and wellness website – FitLife.tv! Please enjoy my first article (on the importance of self-care), and “like” and “share” if it speaks to you, so many more can come your way!

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Juan.

He has a passion for vegetables, and a lot of wisdom.

Juan is the produce manager at my local Ralph’s market, and being around him is absolutely enlivening.  In the midst of normal grocery-store conversation yesterday,  with a childlike enthusiasm, he blurted out:

“27 years, and I still just love produce.”

I suddenly noticed I couldn’t stop smiling… and it struck me that Juan’s joy was contagious  and I had caught it. I had to know — how did he stay so darn excited?  And how could I share that with my personal training staff and clients?
